The highlight of the Rutland Polo Club Calendar is the prestigious Assam Cup, part of the national Victor Ludorum competition. The Assam Cup is steeped in history and is a fantastic example of Victorian silver, originally commissioned as a challenge cup by a club located in the Assam area of India. As such teams come from all over the country to compete for a chance to take home the prized silverware.
